General

Decide which membership suits you best then complete the membership form and pay the appropriate fee (monthly or annually). Pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer, or monthly by standing order.
No, just the monthly or annual fee.
You can pay by standing order which is controlled by you and we cannot change the amounts, unlike direct debit.
No, you can pay monthly and cancel your membership at any time if your circumstances change.
You will need to contact your bank. Please let us know if you are doing this to avoid unnecessary chasing.

Squash & Racketball

New team members are always welcome. You will need to be a member of the club. Playing in a team is dependent on your squash standard.
Racketball is played for fun only at the present time and so we do not have a team at the moment.
We are not running any club nights at the moment.
Yes, we re-string squash, badminton, tennis and racket ball rackets. Same day service may be possible depending on the type of string required.
Bring it in and we can build up your grip to suit you.
We sell squash balls, grips, tape, socks, sweat bands, shorts and so on. We also have squash rackets and court shoes available.
Yes, just phone nearer the day and we will book the court for you at a charge of £8 for 45 minutes (covers court fee and temporary membership).
Come along to club night on Friday or Sunday at 6.15pm and join-in with whoever turns up.

Gym

Yes, just pay £5 per visit, although if you plan to use the gym more than once a week it is better value to join. You may also need an induction to ensure you can use the equipment safely.
Yes, on your first visit to the gym.
During opening hours.
Comfortable clothes, either shorts or leggings, tracksuit and clean gym shoes.
No, or anything with studs ore buckles may damage the equipment.
Either swim wear of a towel - but please keep covered up !
Yes, but please have a shower first and use bathers or a towel to cover up as it is a mixed sauna.

Pool & Snooker

We have two teams playing in the Blandford Pool League. Match night is Tuesday from 8.30pm. Matches consist of 6 singles and 3 doubles games and a light supper is provided.
You may play as a guest of a member or pay one-off social fee of £5 to join. Gym and/or squash members are already social members.
